Aug 6, 2016 1:32 PM in response to Another dam nameby Another dam name,IGnoring them is not an option. Have used apple mac and ios products (25) for 29 years w/o these. Ipad is unique as an errant thumb will often select an unintentional link as I move my hand around the Screen. Problem for those elderly Boomers who make up such a small portion of consumers ( the ones with money to afford apple products) Is there any way of changing settings in email so that those of us in declining physical health who grew up with mice not educated thumbs can disable links from automatically being "live" in mail. Was not a problem on my macPlus or SE or Classics or LCs or Imacs or Emacs or Mac Books or I books.. Lol well over a million emails recd before this w/o a phish.

I too can't see a connection between an FCC complaint and phishing emails. I highly doubt the FCC provides phishers with email addresses of those who have complained, nor do they phish themselves.
You can create a new Apple ID if you wish. I wouldn't.
