how can I find them ?

Now I can only see the original versions.

Are you viewing the photos in Aperture or in the Finder?

The originals you are seeing in the Finder will not be modified. The edited versions are only visibe in aperture until you export them from Aperture.

If Aperture is only showing the originals, you may have activated "View > Original Image".  Then hit the "M" key to switch back to viewing the edited versions.

If "Show > Original" is active, you should be seeing the message "Original Image" overlayed on the image in the viewer.

    Thanks, Leonie

this wasn't the problem, but I managed to find my edited photos - I had copied them into a new album which hadn't included the edits for some reason.

My second attempt has worked , gratefully

    Thanks for coming to help
