Q: Apple iD

I am trying to add an email to Apple iD but I am told it is in use with another Apple iD. It isn't. The email has worked with my Apple iD previously but now I can't add it on again?

    I understand that you are trying to add an email address to your Apple ID, but getting a message that it's already in use. I know that it's important to have your account information up to date, so I'm happy to provide some direction to help.

     

    To start, you will want to use the iForgot site to identify any possible accounts that are using the email address, and then you can make any necessary adjustments to that account to be able to use that email account:
