Q: Late 2001 iBook Charger

I would like to buy the a charger for my Late 2001 iBook. I already do have a charger that came with my iBook G4, but I would like to fine the original charger that would have came with a Late 2001 iBook. Does anyone know the model number of the charger that would have came with my iBook?

iBook, Mac OS X (10.1.x), Late 2001, 500MHz, OS 9 Installed

    The part number that I've found is similar to the power adapter included with my first iBook 12-inch G3

    (first model 2001, 500MHz) -- alongside original yo-yo shaped adapter; this was used as spare, to yo-yo:

     

    White M8482 45W iBook Power Adapter, Apple A1036 (this appears to be same as available in early 2002)

    This will work with almost any 12-inch iBook, or PowerBook G3 or G4 that can use the power it supplies. I've

    used mine with a last model Mid-2005 iBook G4 12-inch computer for several years. (by 2005, iBook 12-inch

    G4 1.33GHz model shipped with higher output adapter; have that one, as-new. I'd found used 'good' spares.)

     

    You may need to check to see if your iBook G3 white shipped with a yo-yo adapter; not to be confused with

    another similar Apple power supply intended for use with a different computer, where DC plug isn't the same.
