Q: Can I connect my old iMac (with no wifi capabilities) to the internet via ethernet cord to my MacBook?
I own an older iMac (PowerMac 6 bought in 2003) that only connects to the internet via ethernet cable straight to the router. I moved this computer out of reach of the router and want to connect to the internet again. I also own a MacBook (late 2009) that has Wifi capabilities. Is it possible to connect the older iMac to the internet through the MacBook?
iMac G4, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

Yes, that should be doable. On the MacBook go to System Pref > Sharing > turn on internet sharing using the Ethernet port.
