Aug 8, 2016 7:12 AM in response to cpsandlinby Demo,To me, syncing means transferring content from iTunes to the phone by connecting the device to the Mac with the cable or via WiFi. If that is what you are doing, and you say that the photos are in the same place as the other photos, that still leaves it open for interpretation. I have all of my photos in iPhoto on the Mac organized into Events. I have to sync the specific event to my devices in order for them to transfer - even though all of the photos are in the same place - in iPhoto.
If you could explain in more detail where the photos are and how you are trying to sync them, it would be helpful.

Aug 17, 2016 7:04 AM in response to cpsandlinby cpsandlin,My photos from my iPhone are all held in my "Photos" app on my Mac. When I sync my iPhone through iTunes I select the albums that I want to be synced (same albums from my "Photos" app). In the past, this has always worked, but for some reason, recently it will only sync up until a certain date. No matter how many times I try to sync my new photos from my "Photos" app on my Mac - the photos that will sync to my phone only go up to the photos from June 3 (so everything from June 4 until now doesn't sync onto my iPhone). Could this be from the switch from "iPhoto" to "Photos" that Apple did a while ago? That's the only thing I can think of.

Aug 17, 2016 7:29 AM in response to cpsandlinby Demo,I do not use the new Photos app. I am still using iPhoto even though I am running El Capitan. I am not going to switch unless forced to do so.
Take a look at this. The section about syncing manually with iTunes would apply.

This is something about which I just became aware. It is a Photos App requirement. Tap or click on the link to read more.
If you're syncing from Photos, only your System Photo Library is available in iTunes.
