Q: Biometric Authentication on El Capitan

Hey,

 

Do you guys know any tool i could use to authenticate users on El Capitan through the use of a fingerprint reader? Is there anyone who uses biometric readers on El Capitan?

    I have this issue too.

    I use my AuthenTec fingerprint reader to authenticate against Windows and Linux, but don't see any first or third-party solutions for this version of OS X.

     

    That said, OS X seems to detect the device (it shows up in System Information/USB).

     

    Hope someone more knowledgeable could bring some light into this.
