Q: Poor sound quality with lightning Adapter / 44.1kHz / iOS 9.2
Hello,
i've bought a new
Lightning to 30-pin Adapter (0,2 m) http://www.apple.com/de/shop/product/MD824ZM/A/lightning-auf-30-polig-adapter-02 -m?page=0
but the sound quality is very poor. The highs in the music are very distorted and sound cheap.
I've tested it with the spotify-app (premium) and apple music.
I've found out, that the sound quality of mp3's with 48kHz instead of 44.1kHz sounds good.
I don't think the adaptor is defective, because i've allready tested two of them.
I also have the same problem with an iPad Air and two other car-systems. So i think it has someting to do with iOS 9.2 because i found no complaints about the poor quality of the DAC in the lightning-adapter.
Is there a soultion for this problem? Or can anyone confirm this bug? Thanks in advance.

I found the issue, it's Siri. Turn off siri in setting and the sound quality is restored. You can go into settings while music is playing and turn Siri off and here the quality improve. I have the iPad Pro 9.7 and the iPhone 6s and neither device has this issue.
