Q: Podcast failed review, couldn't play episode

Hi,

I submitted a podcast to iTunes, however the submission failed. Podcasts Connect says that there was an error playing one of the episodes. I am not sure what the problem is/how to fix it.

Thanks for any help!

I have resubmitted the podcast in case that is a simple fix, but the length of the two episodes that were detected was for both "0 seconds". Could this be a part of the problem?

    Thanks

The 'length' attribute within the 'enclosure' tags is '0' when it should be the file size in bytes, but this isn't the problem. Your episodes are hosted on archive.org and when I tried to play episode 2 in a browser it didn't load. Subscribing in iTunes downloaded the file but then brought up an error saying it was corrupted or was a file type that iTunes couldn't play. I downloaded the file and could play it in Quicktime 7 player but not in Amadeus Pro, which couldn't open it. The Quicktime X player opened it but said it was 'converted' and was a .mov file.

So this is something you need to sort out in Archive.org. Files from there can be problematic, but as far as I remember I have seen them work.
