Q: iMessage not sending SMS on new iPad Pro
I am trying to send sms messages using my iPad Pro. The iPad Pro will not send any messages to any phone number that isn't associated with iMessage (an iCloud email). Is there a way to ensure that I can get iMessage to send these sms?
I have tried I unregistering my Apple ID, then re-registering it. This didn't work.
ANy help would be very much appreciated -

In order to send an SMS from your iPad, you need to connect it to your iPhone. Make sure both your iPhone and iPad are signed into the same Apple ID. Then, nn your iPhone, go to Settings>Messages>Text Message Forwarding select your iPad and follow the prompts.
