Q: MacBook Air Mid 2012 shuts down every 30 minutes.
I have a MacBook Air Mid 2012 model. Recently, it started to unexpectedly shut down. After a few times, I realized it shuts down exactly at every 30 minutes of usage. The screen simply goes black and the computer is shut down. When I turn it on again, all my apps are still opened, and my Safari tabs are exactly as when the Mac shut down.
I ran the Apple Hardware test (pressing D while turning on), and the error reported was: 4SNS/1/C0000008 TPCD--124.
After a little online research, I found out it means that there's a problem with the power bus temperature sensor. But what does that means?
I then took my mac to support. They cleaned it and changed the thermal paste, and reinstalled the OS X. The problem still not solved and my mac stills turning off at every 30 minutes. I don't want to change my logic board (they're very expensive here in Brazil). Is there any other thing I can do?
MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)
