Aug 9, 2016 3:17 PM in response to lllaassby pason22,i'll leave the ap open, go back to it and when i "refresh" to update locations, that's when the message appears. if the ap is closed, when i open the ap again (in the morning) message appears.

If you use FindMyiPhone it will time out after some time period.
I do not understand what that has to do with updating the iOS on your device.

Aug 9, 2016 4:30 PM in response to lllaassby pason22,3 of our 4 family devices DO NOT require a login as soon as my ipod touch. our 3 iphones require a login every 3-4 weeks. outside of that, the ap remains open for those devices. find my iphone closes/requires a login every 15 or so minutes on my ipod touch.
