Aug 9, 2016 5:12 PM in response to vbbuiltby Meg St._Clair,In order to print directly from your iPad, your printer is going to need some sort of wireless connection. I seem to recall that there were some apps that would allow printing to some printers over BlueTooth. Check the app store.
By the way, printing doesn't use AirPlay. It uses AirPrint.

Your going to need a wifi network & your computer is going to have to be connected to it.
To print from the iPad, your going to have to install some more software:
-- install enabling software on a computer which you have connected the printer
