How do I access all the apps I already have on my ipad to display via apple TV?

If mirroring is not what you're looking for, what are you trying to do? Apple TV is not just an iPad in a different format. Some iOS apps have tvOS equivalents which you can install on ATV 4, but not all of them.

Yes, I was trying to mirror and didn't know how. Now I know to use AirPlay.
