Q: Wifi connection keeps disconnecting/timed out. OSX El Capitan 10.11.5
Hi,
I would like some assistance on fixing the frequent timed out connections my mac experiences almost every 3 hours. This is the take - we have two MBPs, one used by me and other is my dad's. We have in addition four other devices connected to one wireless router and all of them except the MBPs work flawless without any time outs. I have noticed that almost every 3 hours, the macs' connections become irresponsive. It shows on the top that its connected but nothing really opens and after a couple of minutes Safari puts up the message that the page cannot be displayed.
I have tried a number of approaches to fix this but the issue is still persisting. Two of my windows devices work endlessly without any disconnection while only the macs have problem with my router. The diagnostics shows the connection is healthy but its in fact timed out. I even deleted connection settings from the terminal and reset the whole thing but the timed out thing still exists. The router is Asus N10E and all my macs are running the latest OSX.
MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5), null
