Q: iMac early 2009 Internet very slow

My iMac early 2009 (hard drive 2 years old) was running fine until we installed a Netgear router about a month ago. Since then, the Internet has run very slowly, but it runs totally fine on our mobile devices. We plugged the computer in directly to the modem this morning and it was just as slow. I ran an EtreCheck this morning. I'll post the report below. Any thoughts?

EtreCheck version: 2.9.13 (267)

Download EtreCheck from https://etrecheck.com

Problem: Computer is too slow

Description:

We just recently installed a Netgear router and ever since then the Internet on our computer is running very very slow. We tried hooking it up to the Ethernet cable and it still ran slow, but it’s running very fast on our mobile devices.
