Q: siri changing words?

I use the talk text feature rather than typing, i will say an entire sentence ex. "I have to go to the other store now, they have none left". Siri will input it all in correct, but then change the words to "I have to go to the other door now, they have none left". Its the best example off my head for now. In other words, the first correct way it great and could be left alone, siri takes it upon herself to change the words, underline the word she changed, I then have to click that word for the original word. If she just let it go the way it was all would be fine, she is making it harder than it needs to be I guess. Most times I have to erase it all or stop to click the word. It's almost as if she is trying to hard and it was right to begin with.

    Hello Shawn Cicero,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

Based on your post, I see that when using the talk to text feature, Siri will input your text correctly, but then it will change the words and underline the words that have been changed. I rely on my iPhone and this feature daily. So, I know how important it is we get this issue resolved.

First, please use the following article and force close any open apps that may be running in background that could be conflicting with this feature:

Force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Then, give your iPhone a fresh restart, and test again to see if you get the same result. The following article will help:

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    Best Regards.
