Q: safari internet plug in failure

Hi I am hoping someone out there can help, i am continuously getting an error message when trying to use Facebook via safari.

I am using the following..

iMac 27 inch , mid 2011 build

processor 2.7 GHz intel core 5

4 gb 1333 MHz DDR3

AMD Radeon ^&&0M 512 MB

safari 9.1.2 (11601.7.7)

OS X El Capitan 10.11.6

flash player plug in , adobe flash player 22.0 r0

every 10 mons or so i get the endless turning wheel, looking at the activity monitor it shows in red .. safari plug in failure , safari internet content failure. all i can do is force quite to restart safari .. any ideas ?

i have already deleted and reinstalled the plugin from adobe website without success.
