Q: Album artwork disappears after syncing iPhone

Recently every time sync my iPhone to my iTunes all my album artwork disappears, I don't know what the problem is or what's causing this to happen. I'm on iOS 9.3.4 using iTunes 12.4.3.1, I listen to music daily and take pride in having a organized library with artwork included and this problem has been a pain lately. I hope someone knows a fix for this problem and can help out

    Hi there Spoonbm!

    It appears from the location of your post that you're missing your music's album artwork in your iTunes library on your Mac. I like the visual confirmation I'm playing the correct song but it's also valuable for keeping your library sorted. I'll be glad to help!

    iTunes 12 for Mac: Add artwork to songs and other items -- Use this article if you're missing some of the artwork in your iTunes library.

     

    If all of the songs are missing artwork, you'll need to see if this an issue throughout your Mac or just your user account.

    Try safe mode if your Mac doesn‘t finish starting up -- Even though your Mac is starting up correctly, starting in safe mode will be sure it's starting up correctly. After you've finished logging in, restart your Mac and log in as usual. Has your album artwork returned?

    How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac -- Follow the directions here and log into iTunes in this account. Wait for your music to download, see if the artwork was included and let me know either way.
