Q: i can't share my movie with the new update for my mac in final cut pro x

Hello,

   I update my mac and i try to share my movie in final cut pro x but every time i try to export the movie as a file or to DVD or to youtube it always failed and never work please tell me what should i do?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

    What's the exact error message? What version is this?

    Hi,

      Every time i try to export a file in my final cut pro nothing happen... and every time i try to export video to DVD it say video rendering error...

    by the way i do the new update for mac and now it's oS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

    Nothing happens? What exactly are you doing? What's in the background task window? What version of the software are you using?

    before i update my macbook pro every thing was perfect i could export movie but now i cant epoert any file or share it in youtube or DVD ...nothing work

    I also cannot export my video. It is relatively short, only 6 minutes long and no matter what I try to save it to (Apple Device 1080p, Youtube, Dvd) it says "video rendering error: -50" I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, I've always had success with this program.

    I have a video (5 minutes long) that I want make a final file from. Nothing works. I tried the share bottom, I tried the share option in the menu (all possibilities) and I even tried to launch my Youtubechannel before opening Final Cut Pro X.

     

    I also mark all the files, before anything else. I presumed that it works like ProTools and such programs, in which you bounce your files to a stereo track, when you are done. In FCP it's just video and sound.

     

    Nothing happens when I choose the different options. Just Nothing

     

    I have version 10.2.3

     

    Please help, Thank you!!!

    Exact information please. You have your project selected in the browser. You click the Share button. Does a popup appear or nothing? If yes, can you select master file? Does a dialogue open or nothing? If a dialogue, and you set the settings, can you assign a location and start, or nothing? If it starts, does anything happen in the dashboard display or in the background task HUD Cmd-9, or does nothing happen?

     

    In master file you can export video and audio, video only, or audio only, in the first popup in the settings dialogue.

    I have a project opened. I either close some files (mark them) or not. But as I wrote: Nothing happens. No matter what. Do I have to just choose a project and NOT open it?

    No, you don't have to select the project in the browser, but it ensures that you have a project selected and not something that can't be exported.

     

    So when you click the share button at the end of the toolbar there is no popup with options. In that case you should move the application to the trash and redownload it from the App Store.
