Q: This apple ID has not yet been used with the App store.

I bought my macbook pro from my brother and kept using it without my Apple ID and then I decided to restore the macbook to factory setting because of some issues with the performance, when I hit install OS X Yosemite on the disk it asks for Apple ID login and when I try to login with my account it says " This Apple ID has not yet been used with the App store'' please review your account information, when I hit ''review'' nothing happens and it's kind of stuck and makes me start the process again and enter my apple id and password.

I don't know what's the problem and now I can't open my macbook to use it

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Because the computer was set up using your brother's Apple ID, it is tied to that ID. If you have never downloaded Yosemite, you can't install it. Ask your brother to insert his Apple ID so you can get the computer operational again. Then go to the App Store, sign in with your ID, and check the Purchases tab to see if Yosemite is an option. If not, download El Capitan and see if it will install. If you want to make a clean install, quit the installer and use the program below to create a bootable USB Flash Drive. Boot from it, erase the hard drive, and then install El Capitan. When you reboot normally it will be your computer. Also see the link for selling.

Thanks a lot for your quick response, for some reason now when I shut down the computer and turned it on again and pressed command R instead of loading the recovery it loaded (internet recovery)! so I'm trying to install it now using internet recovery, from what I understand it should install the original operating system and the mac will open and I'll be able to enter my apple ID later, right?

You are welcome. That is the way I understand what should happen. All you can do is try. Worst case, you can use the 2nd option I posted above.
