Q: Can iMessage tell me how many sent/received messages I have to/from a particular phone number?

I messaged a friend of mine and subsequently deleted those messages. I want to know how many messages were sent/received to that particular phone number. I checked with Verizon but they only have records for text messages, not iMessages.

    No, there's no way for you to tell how many messages you deleted. Or were sent between your number/Apple ID and theirs. Why is that number important?

     

    If you have a recent back up that contains the messages that were deleted, you could restore your phone from that back up. It would, however, delete any data added to the phone after the back up was made.
