Plug your iPod into any computer that has iTunes installed. If this is a Mac computer it will have iTunes pre-installed but if it is a Windows computer you will need to install iTunes. After you plug it in follow the steps to fixing your device. You could also try to enter your device into DFU mode and then plugging it into the computer. DFU mode would be the last option.

TechHelp101 your instructions are not clear and repeat what the other replier already stated.

For example you said "After you plug it in follow the steps to fixing your device". However, if the iPod is disable one has to place the iPod in either Recovery mode or DFU mode for iTunes to see the device. Also, you mention DFU mode but you do not provide any information of how to place the device in DFU mode. DFU mode is different that Recovery mode.
