Oct 25, 2012 9:56 AM in response to Nadolgby varjak paw,So what is it you would like us, your fellow users and the only people who will reply in these forums, to help you with? We have no way of knowing whether what happened was an accident or deliberate. There may well be a time limit set for a given user, not beyond possibility give the thousands of people who contact the Apple Store every day and have to be helped. Or it could have been a technical glitch. We just can't know. Its also possible, since you mention "tech support", that you were trying to get technical help from an Apple Store sales represenative, Apple tech support not having any "chat".
If you looking for presales support, contact them again by chat, call them, or visit an Apple Store and talk to someone in person. If you want technical support on a product you already own, you will have to call the Apple Support phone line. They don't provide support any other way.
Regards.

Aug 18, 2014 4:32 AM in response to varjak pawby Krashuman,Any idea how I can back up important data I have in my "mailboxes" (I use them like folders)
I have a 2TB My Passport for Mac hooked up which doesn't appear to work.
Good answer above BTW...

Aug 18, 2014 5:37 AM in response to Krashumanby Skydiver119,You should really start a new thread not resurrect a 2 year old zombie thread.
Putting your post in an old thread makes it very difficult for people to follow and give you answers. Making a new thread with a nice clear title in the proper area can help you get answers quicker.

Aug 18, 2014 7:53 AM in response to Krashumanby babowa,This here isn't really considered a "chat" - it's an online technical forum for users by users. You post your new question in the appropriate forum and someone reading it who is familiar with that type of problem will post an answer.
