Aug 2, 2016 7:04 AM in response to mg2616by Zvonimir Blazevic,You can create a new administrator account by restarting the Setup Assistant:
1 Boot into Single User Mode ⌘ + S.
2 Mount the drive by typing /sbin/mount -uw / then ↩ enter.
3 Remove the Apple Setup Done file by typing rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone then ↩ enter.
4 Reboot by typing reboot then ↩ enter.
Complete the setup process, creating a new admin account.

Aug 11, 2016 8:00 PM in response to Zvonimir Blazevicby marquagr1,I did the process that you described above. I got this computer from a school and I needed to clear the accounts that were there. I am selling said computer and I wanted to make sure that I could setup a new admin account, which I could. But I didn't put all of the information in as far as registering said computer. Now the hard drive icon is not on the desktop and I don't know how to get to where I can put the new owner's info in. Is there something that I am doing wrong or do I need to do this process all over again. Any information will help tremendously.
Thank you.
