Q: Problems completing series

I bought the first couple of episodes (via Apple TV) to see if we would like a particular TV show, and having enjoyed it, decided to complete the series at the reduced balance rather than buy all episodes separately. However, the full price of the entire series still shows up on the main series page. When I click to purchase the full series, it says that I have already purchased several episodes and asks me to confirm if I want to purchase the full series (at $25) or complete the series for the reduced rate. When I click on complete the series, it just takes me back to the list of episodes and shows the full price - assuming this must be a glitch as it's giving the option to complete the series but won't let me do it.  Any way of working around this (have tried the switch on/switch off, and left it for a week to let it catch up)?

    Hello qatn,

Thanks for posting here in the Apple Support Communities. I see from your post that you are attempting to use the Complete My Season feature, but you're having trouble getting it to work the way you'd expect. I can certainly understand why you'd want to take advantage of this reduced price since you've discovered you like this particular TV show.

As a first step, I'd recommend that you try restarting your Apple TV. Take a look at this website for information on how to restart this device:

If you are still having the same issue after restarting, it may be a good idea to try completing this purchase using another device. If you have a Mac, PC, or iOS device available, you can follow the steps here to complete a season:

Complete an album, season, or bundle

    On your Mac or PC

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    On your Mac or PC

    1. Open iTunes.
    2. Go to the iTunes Store.
    3. Depending on what you want to complete, choose Music, TV Shows, Movies, or Apps from the upper-left corner.
    4. Under Quick Links on the right side of the window, click Complete My AlbumComplete My Season, or Complete My Bundle. Any eligible albums, TV seasons, movie bundles, or app bundles appear.
    5. Select the item that you want to complete. On the item's Buy button, you'll see an adjusted price based on what you’ve already spent.
    6. Click Buy.

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    1. Depending on what you want to complete, go to the iTunes Store app or App Store app.

    Take care!
