Q: Switching to Mac completely
Hi guys!
I'm new here, so please feel fre to welcome me.
I'm ready to learn a brand new OS.
Some questions.
1. Does Migration Assistant work with Windows 10?
2. I'm blind. I'll be using a screen reader on a new OS for the first time. I currently use NVDA, which is a Windows baced screen reader. On Voiceover, can the same windows commands work with Voiceover or am I'm going to have to learn new commands?
3. Can I use Voiceover with OSX TTS voices like JR, the Dectalk Access voice?
I don't have a mac yet, but would appreciate some getting started tips so I can use them with my mac.
Oh, and this will be my very first mac product!
I know this will be a learning curb, but I'm excited to get going once I have exact change!
Appreciate the info and warm welcome!

Welcome to macOS!
1) Yes.

- "Migration Assistant works with Windows XP and later."
2 & 3) I'm not sure if the commands will be exactly the same, but here are some great resources for you:

- OS X El Capitan: Hear your Mac speak text
- OS X El Capitan: Change your computer’s voice
In my experience, using a Mac has always been simple. I came from a PC background as well, and found many (not all) of the shortcuts were the same, or similar. Some additional resources are below for a new Mac user. Hope you enjoy!
