Jan 4, 2013 5:40 AM in response to Tegalosby Winston Churchill,Welcome to the Apple Community.
What I would like to know is, will the photos delete from iCloud the next time I backup the phone?
Not the next time, iCloud keeps the last 3 back ups, but they will eventually be deleted.

Mar 23, 2016 7:37 AM in response to Winston Churchillby CatAZ,Hi Winston, You've helped me recently, and I found this question which is the same one I have. Hope you can help me. My iPhone is getting "full." I am paying for space on iCloud, so this is great I thought.... All my photos will be stored on iCloud. Then I can delete all those photos taking up precious space on my iPhone.... nope..... when I deleted the photos on my iPhone, they also got deleted in iCloud. That's just not right, is it? Why have iCloud if I can't use it for photo storage, so I can free up space on my iPhone? If I have to keep the photos on my iPhone in order to keep them in iCloud, then iCloud is doing me no good at all.

Mar 23, 2016 7:39 AM in response to CatAZby Csound1,Because iCloud storage is synchronous. Use another service, iCloud will not do what you want it to.

Aug 13, 2016 2:19 PM in response to Csound1by MHMH,So Apple does not offer a service for photos like it does for music ? My entire music library is available from the internet and I can delete music from my iPhone without losing it.
