Q: Keep my photos on my iCloud but delete from iPhone to make space.

I Want to keep my photos on iCloud but clear them on my iPhone so I can free up some of my iPhone space.

iPad 2, iOS 7.1.1, Front camera freezes

If you are using iCloud Photo Library (Settings > iCloud > Photos > iCloud Photo Library on), if you delete a photo from the iPhone it will also be deleted from iCloud and from every other device connected to that iCloud Photo Library. You can potentially reduce the storage space required on the phone by turning on "Optimize iPhone Storage" on the same Settings screen. Apple does not currently offer a cloud-only storage solution. iCloud Photo Library is a method of syncing all of your photos to iCloud and your other devices.
