Q: Problem updating my pro apps purchased with serial number, not on app store( Final cut X. motion

Hi !

 

      I had a macbook pro with 10.7.5 on it. I updated to 10.11.6 but now my Final cut X, motion 5.03  and compressor don't open. A message said that a need the latest version available on app store. The problem is that those apps wasn't purchased on app store. I have a serial number for each of them. How can I update those apps that was not purchased on app store ????

    The application is only legally for sale on the App Store. Any other sale is fraudulent.

    Hi !

     

       excuse me it was not a serial code it was a redeem code. The problem is that we have a macbook pro that final cut X was installed with a redeem code but we don't know which apple account was used to redeem this code. So we are unable to upgrade our final cut X to work with El Capitan. Is there a way to know which apple ID had installed final cut pro X ?
