is a likely path to have someone look into this matter; could be hardware fault.
Or authorized Apple service provider; who could provide diagnostic test/repair.

Have you tried running the MacBook from a second user account?
How full is the hard disk drive; verses the total capacity?
A fuller HDD may cause temperature increase all around. Also cooling
efforts can be affected by dust inside the fan and air passages. Options
in how to address these issues vary with the build model hardware.
Hopefully your trip to an Apple service is not too arduous.

none of what you told me, the fans start immediately after the first sound before the operating system loads. the only thing I know is that the offending temperature is that of the RAM.

may actually be due to something else as the integrated logic board dictates.
Sorry the problem has cost you loss of use with this device, and peace of mind.
