Q: Anyone else find iOS 9.3.4 buggy?

Since updating my iPad to 9.3.4 I am getting a lot of apps crashing, and other very annoying bugginess.

Like keyboard completely non-responsive unless you try 2 or 3 times.

No problems with iOS 9.3.4 here  ...

See if a restart helps ..

    1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
    2. Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
    3. After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.

    Nope, no problems.

What troubleshooting steps have you take?

Yes after rebooting the iPad it seems better, though I had rebooted once already, the second time was a charm.

Since the update, my screen has been unresponsive about 75% of the time. I have restarted my phone many times and it didn't help. I also took my case off, I took my screen protector off, my hands are clean, and I cleaned the screen. The rest of the phone is completely functional and the screen works great whenever it decides to work. But most of the time, the entire screen is unresponsive.

Can I uninstall this update? I have an Iphone 6 plus 64GB.

No, you can't uninstall the update. However, you can reinstall it which often solves issues.  Restore your phone as new using iTunes. Test. If all is well, try restoring your back up.

However, what you're describing sounds like a hardware problem.

I had it checked at an apple store and it's not a hardware issue. But I can't restart it as new because I don't have an icloud update to fall back on if it doesn't work. And I can't back it up to icloud because I can't use the screen of my phone..

What did the folks at the Apple Store say was the problem?

It seems as if you have a choice of restoring as new and losing your data or not being able to use the phone which would mean no access to your data.

Are you saying you don't have your phone set to back up automatically and you waited until there was a problem to think about backing it up? Once you get  your phone working, enable iCloud back up and then, plug your phone in at night, make sure it's connected to WiFi and then lock the screen. You will then always have a very current back up for the next time something goes wrong that requires you to restore your phone.

YES!  many of the items in my iBooks have disappeared- entire categories are blank.  I did the hard reboot 2 times and no relief.  I do not know how to recover the lost items!  Anyone know how?

If they are purchased iBooks, download them again from the iBook Store. If they are files you added from other sources, sync them back to your phone using iTunes from the back up copies on your computer.

I only asked them to check the hardware and they said the hardware was functional.

My problem is I don't have Wifi at home. I'll have to bring a charger to work and have it back tomorrow..

Did you tell them what the problem was? As you've described an intermittent problem, it would be doubly important to explain to them the complete details of your issue.

If you don't have WiFi at home, you'll need to make sure you regularly back up your phone to iTunes on your computer. Or, manually hit the back up button when you're somewhere there is WiFi. I can't emphasize strongly enough the need to maintain proper back ups.
