Q: Photos for iMac

I have version 1.5 on my MAC and it is not recognizing my PowerShot G10. My wife's iMac does, but she is running 1.1. Is there some problem with the G10 on the latest version?

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

Try using the Image Capture on your Mac. Image Capture is in your Applications folder.

Image Capture: Transfer images and other items from your device

Go to the App Store and see if aRAW Camera Compatibility Update is Available.
And If it has already been installed (Version 6.20) restart both the camera and the Mac to see if it works then.

Are you shooting RAW or JPEG?

How are you connecting it and what exactly are you seeing?

Have you tried using a card reader?
