Q: Macbook Without Battery Won't Turn On
I needed to get rid of my Macbook's battery last summer, and it worked fine without it as long as I kept the Macbook plugged in. But half a year ago (or so), it wouldn't turn on and it looked like it was completely dead. Now, it takes a while just to get it to turn on, and the gray screen that shows when it's booting up seems to be frozen, and the computer won't fully turn on, so I can't access anything on my computer. Is this because I haven't been using my computer recently, or is it because the computer doesn't have a battery? Will getting a battery fix this and allow me to access my computer? Also, the gray loading screen (or whatever it is) seems to be frozen and the screen doesn't change for 9 (or more hours). The loading bar underneath the loading wheel freezes as well. I turned the computer on and the gray screen stayed up for 9 hours before I had to turn the computer off. What should I do?
