Q: No iTunes sound after update 12.4.3.1

Updated to iTunes 12.4.3.1. After update, no sound from HDMI, headphone jack or Bluetooth. Sound from other apps/browser (e.g., YouTube, Netflix) is fine. Tried adjusting iTunes volume and menu bar volume.  Checked sound control panel.  Tried re-start. Tried uninstall/re-install. Running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, Version: 10.0.14379 Build 14379, RAM: 16 GB, Processor: Intel Core i5 2400 CPU @ 3.10 GHz

Any ideas?

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities, robbeltran1!

It looks like you're having some problems getting sound from iTunes on your Windows 10 computer although you get sound from other apps. Having no sound certainly would not make iTunes very fun to use, so I can understand why you would reach out for help with this today.

There are several different reasons you may not be getting sound in iTunes. We recommend checking out some of those reasons listed in the support article below to see if any of them apply to your situation. Make sure to thoroughly read each section so that you don't miss any important steps such as updating your Windows computer to the latest Service Pack and checking for driver updates for your computer and audio card.

If none of the steps in the article help you get your iTunes sound issue resolved, we recommend uninstalling iTunes and all of its components, and then reinstalling it again. Although you mentioned that you tried this step already, iTunes does need to be removed a certain way so that you get the best results when reinstalling it. Check to make sure you're uninstalling iTunes and each one of its components in the exact order as shown in the support article listed below, and reinstall it only from the official iTunes download page.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

    Take care!

Try Edit > Preferences > Playback > Play Audio Using and change the setting. If that hasn't helped set it back where it was and try once more. Otherwise see the second box in Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
