Aug 5, 2012 5:22 AM in response to Eamonn@Parksideby King_Penguin,If you've downloaded them from iTunes then you can't read them on your Mac (or any other computer) as Apple haven't yet made a Mac (or PC) reader for them.
Do you have the iBooks app on your iPad ? If so then you should be able to sync them (via the iPad device's Books tab) to that and read them in that app (iBooks is the only app where you can read them) - if you can't read them in iBooks then try deleting the books from the iBooks app (via the Edit button at the top right of the bookshelf) and then re-download them via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app (there should be a Store button at the top left of the bookshelf).
