Q: Titles & Transitions folders don't exist?

I downloaded a couple of plug-ins today and when I went to install them it said that my transitions folder didn't exist, so I tried to create a knew one in the correct location and then install the plug-in there but it said that I didn't have the permission to do that. The same thing happened with my titles folder. Help?!

Where exactly are you trying to create them? They're supposed to be in your home Movies folder. Do you have restricted access on your computer? Are you an admin user? Make sure the Motion Templates folder has the .localized suffix added.

I've checked and everything's set up correctly and I'm installing it in the correct place. However, it's still telling me my transitions & titles folders don't exist!

SO you no longer are getting the permissions error?

WHat is it? Where are you seeing the error message? Post a screenshot. If this is not working as the plugin provider instructed you need to contact them. Which plugin provider are you talking about?

Do you have a Motion Templates folder inside your Movies? Did you create it? If yes, make sure it is .localized.

In Transition you should have something like this

when you drag into the Leno Clean folder you'll get a dialogue asking for your system username and password.

If you have further problems you need to contact LenoFX.

If you've never installed Motion, then those effects folders are not likely to be there. The LenoFX people assumed you already have those folders available.

There are complete "install" instructions (but also explains setting up those folders if you don't have them available). I would recommend you manually install the lenofx templates after you finish setting up.
