Q: Does it fix the massive slowdowns

Does it fix the massive slowdown that started when I installed El Cap. My iMac went to a crawl in every click I did. Unbelievable. IMAC 27 inch Late 2013. 10.11.5 (15F34)

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5), iMac Late 2013

The only one except Adblock, that I trust is Ublock: but I am not sure and can not prove it, it was recommended by a friend who I trust completely and who works with this guy Chris Aljoudi that made the blocker.

    Have fun.

I found something you may find interesting on the AdBlock site. https://getadblock.com/

AdBlock isn't available for your browser. We currently support Chrome, Safari, and Opera for desktops and Safari for iOS devices. If you're looking for an ad blocker that works in your browser, we suggest Adblock Plus.

You seem to miss the point. You said AdBlock Plus is not "kosher" yet the developers of AdBlock recommend it for browsers they don't support.

Before Michael went broke he got some money from these other guys (to use the name I suppose), and maybe this is an old recommendation. But more or less it may be that the new people around Michael have convinced him to do it, because APlus is now doing things right, after the court sessions. My point is: Adblock is made by kosher people and did not bend for money. The other troupe did (and other blockers as well). They probably now have a "white" earning model. But I rather choose for the honest boys, maybe there is another weak point in the earning model coming up. The workings and principle of most adblockers are the same anyway.

I really wish you had any evidence at all of what you are saying. I just take exception to recommendations to users which seem to have no basis in fact. Nothing I can do about it I suppose.

Oh yes, it was in a number of relevant journals, and in a number of threads here, look back about 2 years.

I did last time you mentioned it. I didn't find a thing.
