Aug 15, 2016 11:36 AM in response to ChrisJ4203by Aggiebeach,Appreciate the input. You are right. Originally we shared an account and I had purchased storage which we were able to share. However with Family Sharing that doesn't work and storage has to be purchased for each individual device. I already purchased this on kids phones without problem, but am having the issue when trying to buy storage on her phone.
I am doing a reset to see if there might be something from the old setting junking up the account, but other than that, I am not sure what to do. Hmmm.....

Aug 15, 2016 11:42 AM in response to Aggiebeachby ChrisJ4203,Okay, so you understand that you cannot share storage. Then what is the problem with using her credit card? I'm not understanding what the problem is now. It is not going to use the Family Sharing credit card since you cannot upgrade her storage. She has to do it herself with her own account login.

Aug 15, 2016 11:51 AM in response to ChrisJ4203by Aggiebeach,If you read up on Family Sharing, one of the key benefits is being able to have all purchases from those in the "family" to use a common method of purchase. I can certainly add a credit card for her, but it doesn't answer the question of why I can buy using my credit card on my kids phones, 2 of whom have accounts setup the same as my wife, but my wife's device won't.
Anyway, not here to argue about using a credit card, I was looking for advice on the Family Sharing setup. Thanks anyway for your input. Have a good day.

The family purchases refer to music and applications. I am not here to argue either, just provide as much information as possible. If you still feel there is an error, you can contact iTunes support for further clarification. Family Sharing - Apple Support
