Q: Can I plug my new MacBook Pro into my iMac to add contacts, calendar, etc. onto my new device?

My new MacBook Pro is due to arrive on Wednesday.  Can I plug it into my iMac to have the contacts, calendar, etc. added to the new device?

iPhone 6, iOS 8.4
