Q: Wifi Autoconnect Settings sharing between devices

Is there anyway to NOT share wifi settings between iPhone and iPad. For example, I would like to be able to connect my iPad or MBP to a portable wifi hotspot but do not want my phone to connect to that network ever. As soon as I connect my iPad, my phone autoconnects. I have a similar issue with my MBP which I need to connect to my work network, but never want my personal devices on there. If I forget the network on one device, all the others won't remember it. It is getting to be a real pain.

Maybe I don't understand your question but I believe that you should be able to do that if you disable Keychain on your devices. I have my iPhone and iPad connected to different networks at this time. Forgetting one does not forget the other.

If the devices share an Apple ID there is no way to disable sharing WiFi networks. The only way is to have different Apple IDs for iCloud, or to disable iCloud Drive, which will disable all sharing.

Good point. That may actually work, if you aren't using Keychain for anything else.

That will likely work. Wish there was some way to just not share wifi connection details. Passwords and credit card info are pretty useful to share, just want to have more control over the network access. Like an option to apply settings to specific devices.
