Q: Use MacBook Air as second screen for iMac running Windows 10

Hello,

is there any possibility to use my MacBook Air running El Capitan as second screen for my iMac running Windows 10 under Boot Camp? I have to use the iMac for work and would like to extend the screen to my MacBook Air. I could not find any solutions, as target display mode is not working under Boot Camp. Does anyone know a solution or a third party app for this?

TDM is not supported under Windows. Use your iMac as a display with Target Display Mode - Apple Support uses the TB/DP connection.

Please also see OS X El Capitan: Use another Mac as a display . This is primarily an OS X feature.

It is unlikely that Apple will write a BC driver to support similar features on the Windows side.
