Q: Nano 7th Generation sync problems

I have over 15000 songs on my iTunes library and realise my new iPod does not have the capacity to sync that many songs.

I understand that I should be able to sync up to 4000 songs to my iPod, but when I have tried to sync I get the message 'insufficient space available'.

Could somebody please advise me how to resolve this problem?

I have the iPod set to crossfade. What other settings should I use, as well as settings on the summary?

I do not wish to tick each song manually from my library.

Many thanks.

The number of songs you can transfer will depend on their size, which in turn depends on length and format, whether they have embedded art etc.If it is a 16 Gb device make a playlists of up to say 15Gb of content to sync, add that list to the device, then slowly increase the size of your synced list until you run out of room. If your device is showing a large quantity of "other" content then it needs to be restored first.
