Q: iCloud storage usage
About 2 days ago the portion of my 50 GB of iCloud storage "claimed" by my iPhone 6+ backup jumped from around 5 GB to 35 GB. My 128 GB iPad "Baby Pro" uses 4.6 GB, and my wife's iPhone 5S uses 2.7 GB.
iTunes says my iPhone's capacity is 113.43 GB; it says 58 GB are free; 35 GB are in Apps; 8 GB are in Audio; and 3 GB are in Photos.
I have turned off backing up Photos to iCloud, so NONE of those things itemized above are backed up to iCloud.
This only leaves 9 GB MAXIMUM to back up. So how is it using 35 GB of storage?
Also, I have no available broadband, only a DSL line that maxes out at 2.8 Mb/s. At an average of, say, 2 Mb/s, 35 GB would take almost 40 hours of continuous uploading. Which did not happen.
iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.3.4, 128 GB
