Q: I need help to set up a terminal server

Hi all

I work at a none-apple friendly environment, basally only PC er go. Nevertheless I refuse to anything else than my beloved mac.

I have everything up running, expect a terminal server or another way of getting in touch with th O drev. I know the path to the server, but can anyone help med hov to set it up?

The path states like this \\..........\......\....._PRODUKTION_DATA but what I try to connect to server I get the smb:// Please help me out.

In advance, thank you so much.

I would die if I had to go back to a PC after 10 good years on Mac.

regards Jesper

Well it would help to properly identify the Mac based on the operating system that is on it. iOS runs on iPads, iPod Touch, and iPhones.     Terminal servers might run on Mac OS X server, or Mac OS X client, or an antique A/UX which some people still know.    Macs that are 2006 and newer can also run Linux server natively with virtualization engines that use the Intel CPU on them.

If you have any GUI, and an Apple logo, go to Apple menu -> About This Mac.  That will tell you a lot of about the Mac.

If running Darwin, it can tell you more about what you might be running as a Mac OS X https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darwin_(operating_system)

You posted to the Classic Mac operating system forum, hence the lack of response time.
