The iPhone 6+ charge port is a replaceable part which would likely solve the immediate problem, however water damage causes instant corrosion on the board and regardless of how well you dry it.   You might find some help from an independent repair shop although independent repair is not sanctioned by Apple.

Since that device is an AT&T insurance replacement, why don't you talk to AT&T or the insurance company that replaced it to see what they offer you?  Presumably you're still paying AT&T an insurance premium every month.

No, it is not. Apple does not sell iPhone parts. Attempting to do this will forfeit all rights to service from Apple for the device, including discounted out of warranty replacement.
