Q: Text replies on Apple Watch doesn't match

Hello

I know how to set those default text replies (iPhone-Watch App-My Watch-Message-Default Replies), I have updated the list already and only kept 3 replies I used most.

But when I tried to reply a message by clicking "Reply" on my Apple Watch (see IMG-01), it came up with many suggestions that I had no ideas where they came from (see IMG_02). These are NOT the default text replies I set before, my questions:

Are there any ways I can delete or at least modify these "pre-set" replies here?
Why are they different from the Default Replies set on Watch app on iPhone?
Is it a "synchronize" problem?

Might be a sync issue...

Thanks, Carolyn. Well, telling the truth, I am really reluctant to unpaired-then-re pair my Watch, because I hating re-setting my Apple Pay again, I have 3-4 cards registered for Apple Pay, and I need to verify the cards with each bank.

Anyway, I keep this in mind and I may take a look when I HAVE to unpaired and re pair my Watch next time.

Hi Kevin

That is normal. In addition to the standard and/or customised default replies, Apple Watch aims to offer smart / context-sensitive replies, which are specific to any given conversation.

For example: if you receive a message asking "do you want pizza or curry?", you may find that the prepared message options for your reply include "pizza" and "curry".

You may also still find your customised options elsewhere within the list.

Thank you, Jonathan. Your reply makes sense too. If so, then I guess some people like me would prefer to keep our "selected" default replies on top of all choices, or with higher priority than those "suggested" replies. I don't want my frequently-used replies "being merged" by many other suggestions.
