Aug 17, 2016 12:42 PMby 000FFF,You may need to turn iMessage on your iPhone off and then on again. It will trigger it to activate iMessage with your phone number again which should then prompt iMessage on your Mac to accept your phone number.
Also, if you want to send text messages from your Mac, make sure Continuity is set up correctly.

Aug 17, 2016 12:56 PMby Malinda Bryant,OK, so I have tried turning iMessage on my phone on and off a few times. Does nothing. And I checked with all the Continuity issues and at least for messaging it is set up correctly. Interestingly though, for "handoff" although I have it turned on on both phone and mac, that is not working either! Does that give a clue???
