Q: iPhone cellular data usage
New iPhone for 10 days; discovered I've used close to half my monthly data plan. But in checking system services to see what's using it, 751 out of 777MB used are lumped into "general." What is general?
Switched from Galaxy where I used essentially no data for years. I just fanatically use wireless. How can I better control this? Wifi assist has been off.
So, what is "general?"

The goal would be to see if you can figure out something you're doing that might cause such an unusual amount of "General" data.
