Q: iPhone cellular data usage

Yours is 70K and mine is 751MB??? Well I will have to find out what is going on. I am brand new to iPhones but have never used data at all, just WiFi. Thank God I checked it.

My carrier is Verizon. It takes an act of Congress and God on the same day to reach a human there.

Thanks. I have read that and quite a number of other websites on the topic. Which is how I happened along this one. I'll start with Apple. Obviously something is drastically out of whack. I really did not want it to be the phone, which I love.

Thanks, Lawrence Finch & sberman. I contacted both Apple support and Verizon. Good service from both. (Right?!)

Verizon was able to ascertain that virtually all of the data usage was from the initial phone setup, a possibility that actually had occurred to me. Apple CS was flummoxed but tried hard and they don't have access to same data.

I thank you both sincerely for the pointers and the help. It would have been helpful if the Costco rep who sold and set up the phone had been so courteous as to advise. But all's well that ends well. You both made this end well for me.
