Q: Adjusting indents on Pages

Thanks for the feedback but no that doesn't take care of what I am thinking.  Thanks, though.

If you go to Style, you will see two buttons on the second line of Alignment.  One to the left and one to the right (also, CMD[ and CMD]).  These indent the whole piece (i.e. paragraph, title, whatever), not just a line.

It's weird because when I import from a different Pages document I get a different indent and I can't figure out what can be used to adjust this.  It is not the layout/indents as these are set to zero in both documents.

Thank you, Pam.  That was very insightful and accurate as to what I am attempting to make part of the subchapter format.  Unfortunately, that doesn't do it.  It does change the intended indent but does not make it part of the particular format of subchapter (or anything else, of course).  In other words, I change the format to subchapter, the indent does not go with it.  It is not updated along with everything else, even if it is chosen and, then, updated.  The indent is not part of the actual format of a format setting.  Thanks, though.

I think I have to consider that the best possible solution for the question.  I'll keep it in mind for the future, as well.  It may do the trick.
